As the US opening weekend for Legend of Tarzan winds down on the holiday Monday here, the UK release is almost upon is and it will be interesting to see how things go on the home turf of director David Yates, most of the production crew, and . . . well . . . Tarzan himself. The raucous US release, with critics in one corner and fans in the other corner battling it out over whether the film is worthy or not may have an effect — but what will it be? The secondary narrative that audiences have all but rescued the film from the precipice after the critics had done their best to deliver a mangani like beating to it may create enough intrigue to give the film a boost. Or not. We shall see. But there’s hope that there will be some home court magic in the UK, and we’ll be watching closely.
As part of the UK rollout, the stars of the movie put their chemistry and wit on display on Good Mornng Britain
