Is this a stealth campaign? Or strategically slow start?

Muscle and Fitness full article. It's a very insightful article about what it took for Skarsgard to become Tarzan.

I heard that in Regal Theaters before the X-Men movie there's an ad with Alex's voice speaking about Tarzan and saving elephants.  Here's a link to the website. (thanks to ElenaM & Ladyoftheflwrs for sharing)  WB is definitely ramping up, little by little.  It's good to see. 🙂

I like what they're doing so far. They're certainly not hitting us over the head with it, but I think they've picked interesting and some high profile venues for promotion.  I can only imagine their efforts will increase as we move closer to showtime. I'm not hating that strategy....fingers crossed it works. 🙂

Apparently a tie-up comic-book?

I wish. 🙂  This is Canadianbeaversloveaskars and she does a lot of photoshop work. The tags say 'mock-up', so I'm guessing she put her photoshop skills to work.  It could still happen, tho...

New short-ish interview where Skarsgard reiterates that they called him back for re-shoots/additional scenes after filming wrapped.

In 2012, Warner Bros sent scouts to cross Africa at the equator is search of locations for the Legend of Tarzan. The Director, David Yates, was so amazed by the images they brought home he hopped on a plane a see things for himself.

For four days, David sat with his nose pinned to the window. His new project rendering in real time in front of him. The Gabon National Parks team flew him over the most remote parts of this ancient forest where the canopy breaks for immense granite outcrops, breathtaking waterfalls and mighty black rivers reflecting the sky like a faultless mirror. On returning home, he rewrote the script to include the incredible features he had seen.

To celebrate The Legend of Tarzan in cinemas on July 8th Warner Bros. Entertainment have commissioned multiple Gold Medal Winners Liat and Oliver Schurmann to create a garden that reflects the lush jungle landscape of Tarzan’s home. RTE Lifestyle is giving you the chance to win family passes to see the garden where you can enter a competition to win tickets to the European Premiere of The Legend of Tarzan in London on July 5th.

The connection to Stop Ivory is great .....and as a footnote I love the fact that when they talk (on the Stop Ivory site) about Gabon and its jungles inspiring ERB through the works of Paul Du Chaillu . . . .I frankly wouldn't have expected WB to dig that deep into the origins of Tarzan.  So several good things about this......
